We are off. Left at 0400 to catch the tide out and are currently at the southern tip of whidbey island. Doing 7 through the water and 8 knots over ground.
Knocking on wood here but Appa is running great. You'd never know we have about 2000 pounds of food and gear aboard. Not to mention 140 gallons of water, 60 gallons of fuel and we are towing the dingy.
Pretty benign weather forecasted today. Hot though. 80s in the San Juan's. Sun screen today!!
