Left the wonderful encinal yacht club this morning at 0700 and went under the Golden Gate at 0905 (or so) at near slack tide.
Heading to Half Moon Bay today. Not sure tomorrow.
Bucking current right now and no wind.
Jen and the 2 boys are getting their sea legs and Sam is playing in her bed. It would be nice if she took after me and my mom with our "iron guts".
Sitting at the helm, rolling in the gentle Pacific swells with the diesel urging us toward new destinations feels good and like we are suppose to be out here.

ReplyDeleteMore South though it doesn't look like sun yet.
Earendel (True Blue) will be heading north on Thursday / Friday.
And we wont be changing the battery charger settings at all.
Congrats on the boat!
ReplyDeleteIf something is working OK don't touch it. Especially on a boat. Lesson learned. of course I found a bunch of corrosion and the connections needed cleaning, so it is all good. Jen felt like crap on Saturday so in the end I'm glad we left SF Sunday.
